About

Boundless Village is a therapeutic practice built on the belief that healing and growth happen in spaces where connection, creativity, and authenticity are nurtured. Our mission is to create a sense of home within ourselves, offering clients a supportive environment where they feel safe to explore their unique stories, strengths, and challenges. Rooted in empathy and collaboration, we provide individual therapy, family therapy, and innovative group programs designed to meet clients where they are and support them in navigating life’s complexities.

At Boundless Village, we value transparency and accessibility, ensuring that clients feel informed and respected throughout their journey. Sessions are structured with care, balancing joy and challenge, and are tailored to foster trust and a deeper understanding of self. Whether meeting individually, as a family, or in a group setting, we emphasize the importance of building meaningful relationships and developing a sense of belonging. Our offerings include traditional therapeutic approaches as well as creative modalities, such as Dungeons & Dragons therapy, which combines storytelling and play to inspire personal growth and strengthen connections.

We draw from diverse influences, including strengths-based and mindfulness practices, to create a collaborative and inclusive approach to therapy. Family sessions alternate between group and individual meetings, allowing space for collective exploration as well as personal reflection. Group therapy programs like our eight-session Dungeons & Dragons therapy groups integrate creative problem-solving and narrative engagement, offering participants a unique opportunity to practice new behaviors, process challenges, and build resilience in a supportive and imaginative setting.

Boundless Village is more than a place for therapy—it is a space for discovery, connection, and transformation. Guided by the philosophy that healing is an ever-unfolding journey, we are committed to walking alongside our clients with care and curiosity, helping them create a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. Here, you are invited to embrace your story, explore new possibilities, and find strength in who you are.

Angela Burgess is a mental health therapist with a passion for creating spaces where individuals can show up as their full, authentic selves. She brings a unique combination of clinical expertise, personal reflection, and a deep connection to her spiritual practice, offering clients a safe environment to explore their struggles and strengths. Angela specializes in trauma and grief work, with a particular focus on supporting individuals as they navigate loss and its profound impacts. Known for her approachable and transparent nature, she promotes wholeness and growth by meeting individuals where they are and collaborating with them on their journey toward self-discovery.

Angela’s path to this work began with her own experiences of navigating fear, anger, and self-doubt, as well as her realization of the power of storytelling. In 2020, she launched #MyselfIncluded as a creative way to share her first book during the pandemic. Initially a platform for announcing her book, #MyselfIncluded evolved into a vibrant space for blogs, live video discussions, workshops, and conferences that focus on self-worth, patience, and embracing vulnerability. Angela’s ability to combine professional insights with real-life experiences has created meaningful connections with her audience, both online and in person.

In addition to her private practice, Angela has hosted in-person conferences, facilitated small therapy groups, and taught parents about mental health. Her thoughtful and interactive approach helps normalize the struggles people face while offering practical tools for growth. Her grief work holds a special emphasis in her practice, as she creates compassionate spaces where individuals can process loss, honor their emotions, and find their way toward healing and resilience.

Angela’s journey has been shaped by her belief in the importance of courage and authenticity. Through her writing, therapy work, and community involvement, she embodies the mission of fostering connection and supporting others in discovering their own strength. Whether working with individuals or leading group workshops, Angela brings a steady, compassionate presence that encourages healing and growth, one step at a time.
